A Purple Makeover

   I have had this purple dress for a while now - in fact, it was my Easter dress 3 years ago! I pulled it out the other day to wear it & just wanted to "freshen it up" a little. This was kind of hard to do because previously I wore silver shoes, jewelry, & a carried a big silver purse with it. I liked the way the silver complimented the purple but like I said, I really just wanted a change this time wearing it.

This was taken last year while I was pregnant, so I wasn't really trying to get a picture of the outfit but more of my pregnant stomach!

 This was last week I paired turquoise with it. Turquoise goes with just about everything & I love how "summery" it is!! Turquoise shoes, jewelry, & purse except I forgot to carry the purse for the picture! (It was actually raining while we were taking this picture so it's not the greatest!)

Which do you like better? The silver accessories or the turquoise??!!

A Few of My Favorite Things...

   Hi there! I am Julie & I am the youngest of the 4 sisters. (Yea, imagine what it's like having 4 moms...that's pretty much what I grew up with!) I'm going to quickly tell you about myself. My husband & I moved to Texas 3 years ago when he accepted a job position as a Student Minister. We have 3 wonderful, adorable, crazy kids named Jenna(4), Jett(2), & June(6 months)! I LOVE my family!!!
   I am what you would call a "girly-girl"!! I adore all things PINK, LACE, DAINTY, FLORAL & anything else that looks feminine! Here is an outfit I wore a couple of Sunday's ago that has a few of my favorite things in it. I apologize because the pictures are not that great! I'm going to work on getting better ones in the days to come!!
   I love this outfit for a few reasons. First, I've had this skirt & shirt for years & I just decided to wear this skirt differently & this is what I came up with. Second, I love ruffles, I love sheer...so I'm totally into this top. Third, I'm obsessed with turquoise!! I love it in clothes, house decorations, shoes, purses or jewelry! Fourth, I'm kinda a polka dot girl! I'm not like obsessed or in love with it, but every time I wear polka dots I like it! The skirt has very tiny white polka dots which you can't see in the pictures.
