With all my talk of hating maxis, I sure have worn enough of them this summer! A couple weeks ago, Drew and I had the awesome opportunity to share our story of our church plant at a pastor & wives' luncheon at Bellevue Baptist Church. It was done in an interview, Q&A style format, so knowing that we would be sitting up in front of everyone on a platform, I opted out for a long skirt that I would not have to worry over the entire time!

Skirt: Hand me down (originally Holliday's);
Shoes: (seen in picture below) Rack Room Shoes
I love this skirt for a lot of different reasons, one is that it is so comfortable! It's also a great color and pattern. I think the thing I love most, though, is that I can wear my gladiator sandals with it and it looks great. I tend to have to wear my wedges or heels with most of my dressier outfits, but this is one that sandals actually looks better with!
Just a look at the shoes...I am so thankful for a great friend who passed both this shirt and skirt down to me!!!
Now, before I wrap up this post, let's talk for just a sec about rompers. I absolutely love shorts rompers, but every.single.time I try on a romper, I just cannot bring myself to buy it because of the length. For some reason they are all really short on me (which is crazy, because I am extra petite, being only 4'11"). However, last week my mom and I went birthday shopping, and I found this amazing romper at Ann Taylor Loft and the minute I put it on, I just knew I had to have it. I didn't really care about the price tag (until I saw it and had to do a double take). I will admit that I splurged on this romper, but I know I am absolutely going to LOVE it!!
