Sunday Wear

This past Saturday I did a major overhaul of my closet! I pulled everything out and sorted it into piles of Definitely Keep, Definitely Get Rid Of, and Maybe. I tried on all of the Maybe clothes, and yes it got old fast...but I didn't want to put anything back in my closet that I wasn't going to wear. Some of the clothes that I got rid of just didn't fit anymore, and some were just things that I never reach for. There were a few that I really like but that I just haven't worn in ages. I decided that if I was going to put them back in my closet I was going to make myself try to find outfits for them in the next few weeks. If not, they are getting thrown out too.
So, today I wore a top that I haven't worn in a couple of years. I love the bright blue! I paired it with my black pants and a black turtleneck. To accessorize I put on my new gold necklace that I got from Premier. It is so pretty!!

Abby had spent the night at her friend's house the night before, and when we got in the car I realized that we matched!

Gap Striped Skirt

Wow...this is just weird! I got on here to blog about this skirt I bought from Gap while we were in Branson only to find that Katie blogged today about the other skirt I had bought!! Crazy! Originally, this skirt was $44.99. I got it for $3.00!!! Seriously, it was a steal of a deal. I loved the deep blues in the skirt. What's funny is that I bought this cardigan from Gap 2 years ago for $2.97! I have gotten some awesome deals from some Gap outlets!! The white undershirt is from Old Navy & the boots are from JCPenney. Also, the necklace & earrings are from New York & Co that I got from my mom for Christmas a couple of years ago!

I'm feeling BLUE

Today I'm going to show you two different outfits that I wore in the same day this past week. The first outfit is what I wore to church on Sunday, and the second is what I changed into when we went to the Allen family June birthday party that afternoon. Later on I realized that they were both basically the same color scheme! I am really loving this blue right now and liked both of these outfits.

Dress: H&M, Shoes: Maurice's

Top: Peebles, Shorts: Ann Taylor Loft, Shoes: Target

I'm thinking I may should have saved the shorts outfit for the 4th of July...but too late now! And yes, I realize that half of my tree is missing. We are frantically packing up the house for our big move this weekend, so I had to move the photo shoot outside this week! Please pray that the move goes smoothly!!
