I love this skirt for a lot of different reasons, one is that it is so comfortable! It's also a great color and pattern. I think the thing I love most, though, is that I can wear my gladiator sandals with it and it looks great. I tend to have to wear my wedges or heels with most of my dressier outfits, but this is one that sandals actually looks better with!
Just a look at the shoes...I am so thankful for a great friend who passed both this shirt and skirt down to me!!!
Now, before I wrap up this post, let's talk for just a sec about rompers. I absolutely love shorts rompers, but every.single.time I try on a romper, I just cannot bring myself to buy it because of the length. For some reason they are all really short on me (which is crazy, because I am extra petite, being only 4'11"). However, last week my mom and I went birthday shopping, and I found this amazing romper at Ann Taylor Loft and the minute I put it on, I just knew I had to have it. I didn't really care about the price tag (until I saw it and had to do a double take). I will admit that I splurged on this romper, but I know I am absolutely going to LOVE it!!

The romper is really cute! You don't look short in your photos. Where do you find maxi skirts for petites? I can't find any short enough. I have a small frame, and they just swallow me up.
ReplyDeleteHi, Lee Ann! Maxis are very difficult to find for my frame, as well, because of my height (or lack of it, haha - but it's encouraging to hear that I don't look short in my pics :)). Most often I find maxis at Ross Dress for Less. I have two maxi dresses that came from Ross that were the perfect length. The skirt above was a hand me down but originally came from Holidays (a local store). I would try Ross if you have one nearby. Hope that helps!
DeleteI've never heard of Ross until I started reading your blog. Where are they?
DeleteLike both looks, but really love the long skirt, such a pretty print and I love red. The red belt is a great compliment to the waist and I love your wore a white shirt a sto not take away from the skirt's pattern, lovely
